1. Delete from DmBot
Use the account deletion control in the DmBot dashboard when available. You may also submit a verified request by emailing the privacy team using the button below.
Include your DmBot account email, workspace name, and connected Instagram username. Do not include passwords, access tokens, or payment-card information.
2. Disconnect or revoke Instagram access
Disconnect the Instagram account inside DmBot before deleting the workspace when practical. You may also remove DmBot through the applications and website permissions available in your Meta or Instagram account settings. When Meta sends DmBot a valid deauthorization or data-deletion request, DmBot will process the associated identifiers according to Meta’s platform requirements and this policy.
3. Identity and authority verification
We may verify account ownership before deleting data, particularly where a request affects an entire workspace, other members, billing records, or data controlled by a DmBot customer. Workspace owners may need to authorize deletion of shared workspace data.
4. What we delete
Subject to verification, customer instructions, and legal exceptions, deletion may include:
- DmBot profile and authentication records.
- Workspace settings and member access.
- Connected Instagram identifiers and active access tokens.
- Automations, message templates, tags, contacts, lead information, and operational event data associated with the deleted workspace.
5. Timing and limited retention
We begin verified requests promptly and target deletion from active systems within 30 days. Some data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until the normal backup cycle completes. We may retain limited billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or legal records when required or permitted by law.
6. Data controlled by a DmBot customer
If you interacted with a creator or business using DmBot but do not have a DmBot account, contact that creator or business first because it controls its campaign and contact data. You may also email privacy@dmbot.co with enough information for us to route or evaluate the request.
7. Confirmation
After processing, we will send confirmation to the verified contact address when legally and technically appropriate. Contact privacy@dmbot.co for privacy questions.
